Chevella Lok Sabha constituency in KV Ranga Reddy district was created before the 2009 general elections. Until then it was part of the Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency.
Seven Assembly constituencies – Tandur, Parigi, Vikarabad, Chevella, Maheshwaram, Rajendra Nagar, Serilingampally are part of Chevella Lok Sabha Constituency.
This Constituency is a unique mix of highly urban and rural electorate. On one end we have Serilingampally, which consists of IT hub Cyberabad and on the other rural areas like Parigi and Vikarabad.
Because of this unique mix of urban and rural areas – the issues faced by people of this Lok Sabha Constituency are also divergent.
While a Tomato farmer in Chevella suffers from lack of remunerative price for his produce, a women techie living near Hi-Tech city tends to be more concerned about safety and security.
Only a leader with a comprehensive understanding of both the urban and rural facets of this constituency can do justice to its electorate
Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who was born in Pedda Mangalaram, a village in rural Ranga Reddy district and who has been working and living in Cyberabad area, is the perfect choice to represent the Chevella constituency.
